Winn-Dixie Begins Next Phase of "Good 'Til" Price Program
Winn-Dixie will put its "Good 'Til" program of savings on over 1,000 products front and center in its weekly circular, the Southeastern chain said yesterday.
The program, which will run through Jan. 7, 2009, offers shoppers discounts throughout Winn-Dixie stores when they use their Customer Reward Card.
"In these difficult economic times, our vendor partners have been instrumental in helping us be a better neighbor to our customers, by locking in these special prices for the next 12 weeks," said Robin Miller, director of communications for the Jacksonville, Fla.-based grocer.
In addition to the "Good 'Til" program, Winn-Dixie offers "Buy One, Get One Free" and "10 for $10 sales on a regular basis.
In other news, Winn-Dixie shoppers are now adding music to their purchases. Under an agreement with Sony BMG Music Entertainment, the chain's customers can purchase high-quality MP3 files to download to iPods or other digital music players.
The Platinum MusicPass, a credit card-sized digital album card, allows customers to download full-length albums. The cards retail for $12.99.
