Winn-Dixie Announces New Division Manager
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. today announced Joey Medina has been named division manager of Winn-Dixie Montgomery Inc., a subsidiary of Winn-Dixie, effective immediately.
Medina will be responsible for leading the operations of Winn-Dixie supermarkets in Alabama, as well as parts of Mississippi, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. He will report to John Sheehan, s.v.p. of operations.
"Joey has 20 years of experience with our company and an excellent track record operating superior supermarkets that provide the highest quality services to our customers," Sheehan said. "We expect he will bring his exceptional operating skills to the Montgomery division and contribute significantly to our company-wide efforts to improve Winn-Dixie's competitive positioning and better serve our customers."
Medina has made his career with Winn-Dixie, joining the company in 1984 and working in all areas of retail operations. He most recently served as senior director of operations.
Medina replaces Curt Gore, who is no longer with the company.
