Wilcox Jazzes Up The Balancing Act

Dave Sherman and Jim Richter from Idaho’s Wilcox Fresh whipped up three savory potato side dishes in a matter of minutes using their company’s signature value-added Potato Jazz line, which offers consumers a number of different convenient potato varieties, including Gourmet Fingerlings, Idaho Baby Russets, and a Baby Medley of Red and Yellow Potatoes.

Each Potato Jazz serves up to four people and comes with a special seasoning blend. After cooking and seasoning, they can be served directly out of their own microwave steam tray, which cooks its contents within five minutes for added convenience and less clean-up.

“The Balancing Act is a great opportunity to show viewers how to ‘jazz up’ their family’s meals without all the work,” says Sherman, noting Potato Jazz’s “appealing” prep and cleanup benefits alongside delicious, healthy meal attributes.

“Having Dave Sherman and Jim Richter from Wilcox Fresh on ‘The Balancing Act’ has brought yet another great solution to women, one that will have a real impact, and help them balance their lives,” says Doug Campbell, The Balancing Act’s founder and EVP of programming. “This is the essence of solutions-based programming, and we are proud that we could bring this innovative technology to our viewers.”
