Whole Foods Unveils Locations of Next 5 Value Format Stores
Whole Foods Market has unveiled the locations of its next five 365 by Whole Foods Market value format stores.
The new stores will be located in Evergreen Park, Ill.; Gainesville, Fla.; and Concord, Claremont and Los Alamitos, Calif., adding to the previously announced locations in Bellevue, Wash.; Cedar Park, Texas; Cincinnati, Ohio; Houston, Texas, Portland, Ore.; and San Francisco and Santa Monica, Calif., which PG reported on in July of last year.
The first 365 by Whole Foods Market store will open this May in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. Stores in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and Bellevue are slated to open in July and August, respectively, the company said. Whole Foods expects to open 10 value format stores before October 2017.
“We have assembled an amazing team of people who have been working tirelessly to create an innovative shopping experience that will appeal to new and existing Whole Foods Market customers,” said Jeff Turnas, president of 365 by Whole Foods Market. “We are all eagerly awaiting the opportunity to introduce 365 by Whole Foods Market with the opening of our first store in Los Angeles in just over 100 days.”
365 by Whole Foods Market will feature what the Austin, Texas-based company calls "a thoughtfully curated mix of products that adhere to the company’s industry-leading quality standards, in a modern and streamlined retail environment."
