Well-Pict Launches Pinterest Campaign

Well-Pict Berries has launched its “Pinning is Slimming” promotion on Pinterest.

Through June 30, Pinners can re-pin their favorite recipe from any of four of Well-Pict’s specially marked boards. Entrants then comment on the original recipe they chose to re-pin. All participants are entered into a drawing for a $100 grocery gift card.

“Well-Pict has a rich history in promoting fresh fruits and vegetables as alternatives to sugary snacks,” said Dan Crowley, sales manager. “This promotion allows our consumers to share recipes with each other, and compare tips and ideas for putting healthy foods on the table.”

In other news, Well-Pict Berries is a sponsor of the Produce For Kids Get Healthy, Give Hope campaign. Through June 26, a portion of all sales from Meijer Stores will be contributed to the annual donation.

“We’re excited to be hosting the 11th annual Get Healthy, Give Hope campaign benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in Meijer stores,” says Trish James, vp at Produce for Kids. “Together with partners, like Well Pict Berries, we’re able to raise funds to support kids in need while also promoting the incorporation of fresh produce into the lives of families."

Since its creation in 2002 by Shuman Produce Inc., Produce for Kids campaigns have raised more than $4.2 million for children’s non-profit organizations including Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Let’s Move Salad Bars To Schools and PBS KIDS among others.
