United Supermarkets to Sharpen Fuel Management
United Supermarkets has chosen FuelQuest's Fuel Management Services to streamline and manage its bulk fuel processes.

The cahin said it is going with a system from Houston-based FuelQuest, Inc. FuelQuest said its technology will allow United Supermarkets to:
-- Gain strategic consulting on supply portfolio, contracting and sourcing
-- Reduce financial exposure to volatile markets with reduced freight and fuel costs
-- Increase transparency with fuel purchase, transport, and taxes
-- Centralize control and provide real-time visibility into all stores
-- Optimize inventory and dispatch control
-- Automate invoice reconciliation.
United Supermarkets operates 47 stores in 27 cities across north and west Texas.
