United Supermarkets Expands, Enhances Rewards Program

United Supermarkets has expanded its loyalty rewards program to allow shoppers to earn either free fuel or groceries when making everyday purchases in its 66 Market Street, Amigos, Albertsons Market and United Express locations.

Through the program’s new features, rewards members earn one point for every $1 spent in-store.

“Enabling our guests to receive free fuel or groceries by making everyday purchases elevates the value of our rewards program,” according to Robin Cash, loyalty marketing manager for the Lubbock, Texas-based Albertsons LLC subsidiary. “In addition, guests can continue saving more by using our mobile app for customized coupons and member discounts on relevant items for each household.”

The points program enhancement is the latest iteration of United's complete rewards program that offers guests product recommendations, digital coupons and product discounts that are individually tailored to their shopping habits. To sign up for the free program, guests can visit www.unitedtexas.com or use the “United Market” mobile application, which is available for iOS and Android operating systems.

“We believe that in addition to staying competitive in pricing for our guests, offering ways to shop smart and save money is one more way The United Family can help take care of families in the communities we serve,” said Cash.

With stores in 36 communities in West Texas, Dallas-Fort Worth and New Mexico, United Supermarkets also has distribution centers in Lubbock and Roanoke, Texas, along with ancillary operations R.C. Taylor Distributing, Praters and Llano Logistics.
