Unified Grocers Introduces CART Platform

Unified Grocers has launched the CART (Center for Advancing Retail & Technology) platform, a portal through which member retailers can find solutions Unified recommends for their business. The portal includes a number of resources like case studies, papers and publications from universities that retailers can search and download.

“There have been dramatic changes in the use of consumer-level technologies in recent years and the CART platform gives our members the ability to quickly find and understand solutions that are recommended by Unified. The platform is a major benefit to our retailers,” said Mike Brown, VP retail services and technology for Commerce, Calif.-based Unified Grocers.

The cloud-based platform allows independent retailers easy access to the latest retail solutions and connect to them with a simple click, says Gary Hawkins, CEO and founder of CART.
