Tom Jackson Receives Fla. Retail Federation Award
The Florida Retail Federation has named Tom Jackson, interim director of the Florida Grocers Association, its 2015 FRF Chairman’s Award winner.
Jackson was honored for his “commitment to the Florida Grocers Association, his success in its significant growth and his passion for the industry,” said FRF Chair Sandy Fortin, who presented the award during the 2015 Fall Meeting.
The Florida Grocers Council was rebranded earlier this year to the Florida Grocers Association and named Jackson its interim director in June; it remains a division of the FRF. He is tasked with expanding membership while serving the needs of the 2,300 grocers and industry partners in the state’s $45 billion grocery industry.
