Ticketmaster, Kroger Expand Exclusive Ticketing Retail Outlet Agreement
ST. LOUIS - Ticketmaster, the world's leading ticketing company, has expanded its partnership with Cincinnati-based Kroger whereby consumers in southern Illinois will now have the ability to purchase event tickets while shopping at Kroger grocery stores in Carbondale, Marion, and Mt. Vernon, Ill.
"We are dedicated to providing our customers with added conveniences through access to the latest technology, while maintaining the highest standards of goods and services," said Dee Tanner, zone manager for the southern Illinois Kroger stores. "As a retail outlet for Ticketmaster, we are once again demonstrating our commitment to customer convenience and southern Illinois' local economy."
Noting that the Ticketmaster/Kroger relationship is a perfect fit for both companies, Connie Hohman, g.m. of Ticketmaster, said the move will give consumers another reason to visit Kroger.
Ticketmaster is the exclusive ticketing provider of some of the most popular venues and sports teams in southern Illinois and Missouri, including Southern Illinois University Carbondale, UMB Bank Pavilion, Savvis Center, and the St. Louis Rams. As part of its ongoing service, Ticketmaster maintains and operates a ticket outlet network in 63 locations throughout Missouri and Southern Illinois.
