Texas Grocery Bandit Dons "H.W." Mask
HOUSTON -- A robber who has struck at least three supermarkets here has been disguising himself by wearing a mask of former President George H.W. Bush, according to published reports.
The string of robberies reportedly began a week ago, when the robber held up the White House Supermarket at gunpoint. Reports didn't indicate whether he chose the store because of its name.
His next target was a convenience store four blocks away, called Fast Addy's.
Several days later a man in a Bush mask fitting the same description struck Davila's Drive-In Grocery Store.
Police are still searching for the mysterious masked man.
