Tasteful Selections Partners with Katie’s Krops

Tasteful Selections, the specialty potato brand from RPE Inc., has become a sponsor of Katie’s Krops, a nonprofit organization that enables children to grow gardens and donate the vegetables to feed those in need in their communities.

A portion of the profits of specially marked bags of Tasteful Selections’ Ruby Sensation and Honey Gold potatoes will go to the organization.

“We are thrilled to partner with a nonprofit like Katie’s Krops, which instills a sense of volunteerism and social responsibility in the next generation,” said Russell Wysocki, president and CEO of RPE Inc., co-owner of Tasteful Selections.

Katie’s Krops has donated thousands of pounds of fresh produce to organizations helping people in need by awarding grants to youth-led gardens across the U.S. The mission of Katie's Krops is to start and maintain vegetable gardens of all sizes and donate the harvest, as well as to assist and inspire others to do the same. RPE and Tasteful Selections are helping Katie reach her goal of at least one garden in each of the 50 states.
