Symphony EYC Names Global SVP of Marketing

Symphony EYC, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based provider of customer-driven retailing software and services, has appointed Ellen Dixon as global SVP of marketing.

A member of Symphony EYC’s corporate management team, Dixon has global responsibility for the company's target markets including North and Latin America, EMEA and APAC regions and reports directly to Symphony EYC CEO Roy Simrell.

“With Ellen Dixon on board, Symphony EYC has a seasoned expert who brings a solid understanding of the retail software market to play,” said Simrell. “Her experience in enterprise software, retail business transformation strategies and cloud-based software are perfectly aligned to Symphony EYCs growth strategies. Ellen will be instrumental in aligning all our marketing activities with the company’s overall sales goals and ensuring Symphony EYC’s success in the years to come.”

With responsibility for creating brand awareness and demand for Symphony EYC solutions in the retail and CPG markets, Dixon is tasked with driving all elements of the company’s go-to-market strategy. Dixon will oversee the full spectrum of marketing activities for the enterprise suite, which includes strategy and plan development, marketing, merchandise operations, inventory availability and supply chain productivity all aligned to an Omni-customer experience across channels.

Dixon comes to Symphony EYC from Predictix, where as VP, global sales consulting, she managed efforts to develop and deliver global sales support. Before that, Dixon was senior director, retail enterprise solution strategy, for Oracle USA, Inc.
