Supervalu Appoints V.P., Corporate Development
MINNEAPOLIS - Supervalu, Inc. has named Anthony Pellegrin v.p., corporate development to manage Supervalu's merger, acquisition, and divestiture activity.
Specifically Pellegrin will take the lead in negotiations and the completion of transactions including joint ventures, partnerships, and other significant corporate activities. He reports to David Boehnen, Supervalu e.v.p.
Pellegrin joins Supervalu from Honeywell International, Inc., where he was most recently general counsel for the sensing and control division. Prior to that, he was director of corporate development at Federated Direct/Fingerhut Companies, Inc., where he had responsibility for due diligence, negotiation, and drafting for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. He holds a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota.
