StoreNext to Offer Hypercom Optimum Multi-Lane Payment Terminals
PLANO, Texas -- StoreNext Retail Technologies LLC, a provider of in-store technology solutions specifically for independent grocers, said it plans to market payment terminal supplier Hypercom Corp.'s Optimum payment terminals to independents and regional chains via StoreNext's nationwide dealer network.
The agreement between the two companies, completed this week, provides merchants with end-to-end payments systems for ISS45 and ScanMaster POS platforms integrated with the WinEPS payments engine from MTXEPS.

StoreNext will offer Hypercom's multi-lane Optimum L4100 and L4200 payment terminals, including the new Optimum L4250 low-cost, multi-function payment device with signature capture. Near-field communications options for card-less and contact-less shopper devices will also be supported.
The Hypercom terminals anchor the WinEPS payments software feature set together with StoreNext's ScanMaster and ISS45 POS platforms. The integrated solution provides grocers with signature capture, debit conversion, electronic check conversion, Pay By Touch biometric payments, and Blackhawk gift card support.
The agreement follows StoreNext's forging of deals with MTXEPS, Inc., PSC Inc., Pricer, MobileLime, mCosm, and Pay By Touch, under which StoreNext integrates, packages and markets essential retail technologies to offer independent grocers and regional chains the benefits of plug-and-play implementation and support from StoreNext's network of North American POS dealers.
