Stater Bros. Donates Mobile Command Center to Local Sheriff's Dept.

As part of its ongoing support of the communities it serves, Stater Bros. Markets recently donated a trailer that had been converted into a mobile emergency command center to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

The command center, which the Sheriff's Department will use for special events and emergency situations, is equipped with a communication system; a flat screen monitor; a conference area with tables, chairs and dry erase boards; a storage area with cabinets and an HVAC system. Stater Bros. had retired the 40-foot mobile emergency command center in 2010.

“Stater Bros. is pleased to support the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with this donation,” said Jack H. Brown, chairman and CEO of Stater Bros. Markets. “Stater Bros. takes great pride in supporting our local law enforcement agencies and we applaud the courage and bravery set forth by these agencies to ensure the safety of the valued communities where our customers and employees live and work."

Stater Bros. Markets operates 168 Supermarkets.
