Sprouts Marks 200-store Milestone
Sprouts Farmers Market will open its 200th store in Mansfield, Texas, on March 25, as part of the Phoenix-based grocer's continued expansion throughout the country.
Located at 1550 E. Debbie Lane, the Mansfield store is the 17th Sprouts location to open in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The grand opening begins at 7 a.m. and includes a ribbon-cutting ceremony, free samples, as well as a series of discounts and giveaways.
Sprouts is expanding its operational footprint to three new states this year, including locations in Missouri and Alabama that are currently open, as well as stores in Tennessee slated to open beginning in May. Seventy percent of Sprouts' overall growth in 2015 will be in existing markets, according to the company.
“Consumers’ desire to eat healthier without breaking the bank continues to build across the country, and it’s amazing to think that what began as a single Sprouts store in 2002 has transformed into what today is one of the fastest growing and most respected companies in retail,” said Doug Sanders, Sprouts president/CEO.
Sprouts Farmers Market employs more than 18,000 team members in 12 states.
