SpartanNash Names Chris Meyers CFO

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based SpartanNash has named Chris Meyers CFO, effective April 11. Meyers previously was CFO for KeHE Distributors.

In his new position, Meyers will report to SpartanNash President/CEO Dennis Eidson and direct finance, the treasurer’s department, internal audit and risk management. Eidson says that Meyers’ knowledge of the food industry and value creation will be beneficial to SpartanNash, noting that “during his tenure at KeHE, revenues grew significantly and he orchestrated two transforming multi-million dollar acquisitions.”

Dave Staples, COO of the company, had been interim CFO since March 1, 2015.
