SpartanNash CFO Chris Meyers Resigns

Chris Meyers, CFO of Midwestern grocery distributor SpartanNash, is leaving his post after just over a year on the job.

Meyers is leaving effective July 14 for "personal reasons," according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing, mlive.com reported.

Thomas Van Hall has been appointed interim CFO during the search for Meyers’ successor. Van Hall was SpartanNash's VP of finance from 2001 until July 2015.

Meyers joined Grand Rapids, Mich.-based SpartanNash in April 2016 after a stint as CFO of  Naperville, Ill.-based KeHE Distributors.
