ShopRite Rolls Out ‘Healthy Holidays’

11/21/2017

ShopRite’s new Healthy Holidays campaign enables shoppers to sample better-for-you holiday foods, get free nutritional advice from in-store health-and-wellness experts, and download a recipe booklet featuring healthier versions of classic festive fare.

“We know it’s hard to resist temptation over the holidays,” noted Natalie Menza-Crowe, ShopRite’s director of health and wellness. “That’s why we’re so excited let people know about our Healthy Holidays campaign, which is all about helping our customers enjoy the holidays and create festive meals and desserts that are as delicious as they are nutritious.”

The campaign’s free “Healthy Holidays” recipe brochure is available at the offices of local in-store ShopRite dietitians or can be downloaded from the banner’s website. The pamphlet offers ideas for holiday-inspired salads, appetizers, meals and desserts, as well as ingredient “swap” suggestions for healthier versions of baked goods, pasta dishes and entrées. A complete list of Healthy Holiday in-store events to be hosted by ShopRite’s team of registered dietitians can also be found online.

Additional Healthy Holidays features include vivid signage throughout the store, and messaging on the store’s website, social media channels and weekly circulars. A short video about the campaign can be viewed on YouTube.

Running through the end of December, the campaign is the latest addition to ShopRite’s Well Everyday messaging program.
