ShopHero Launches Two New Retailer E-commerce Sites

Skinner Grocery & Market and Stewart’s Marketplace both launched new online shopping websites provided by ShopHero, an e-commerce service provider based in Provo, Utah.

Skinner’s allows customers to shop the entire inventory of the store, including its famous fresh meats, for delivery the same day. The new site integrates with the store’s existing website, allowing Skinner’s to leverage its existing relationships and investments.

“We looked at other e-commerce providers and were concerned with the co-branding model,” said Brant Brantley, owner of the Longview, Texas store. “We wanted our customers, their shopping habits and all of that data to remain on our site.”

ShopHero provides the personal shoppers to pick and deliver the orders to Skinner’s customers. The new personal shoppers were hired by ShopHero and trained within four weeks, according to Brantley.

“After just one week of promoting this on Facebook, we received tremendous feedback and people are very excited,” Brantley added.

Stewart’s Marketplace is the first store in northeast Utah to offer online grocery shopping and serves not only customers in its town of Roosevelt but also customers thirty miles in either direction from Duchesne to Vernal, Utah. Customers can pick up in-store or have their groceries delivered and can place orders from their desktop computer, phone or tablet.

ShopHero’s technology and service allows Stewart’s to ensure efficient order picking and same-day delivery.
