Salient, HighJump Software Partner on Integrated DSD Solution
Salient Management Company, a global supplier of performance optimization software for large, transactional businesses, has tapped Minneapolis, Minn.-based HighJump Software as an OEM partner for its Salient Dashboard Miner and Dashboard Viewer to provide users with reporting options for direct-store-delivery to better measure and manage performance.
HighJump, a provider of supply chain management software with over 4,500 customers, is developing a new integrated solution for the direct-store-delivery market, based on Salient’s technology.

The partnership will provide best-in-class solutions to help DSD businesses find new ways to improve their operations, according to Russell Fleischer, HighJump CEO. “Salient has a solid track record in performance management technology and HighJump has extensive expertise and a robust customer base in DSD mobile and route accounting, EDI solutions, and warehouse management,” he added.
The Salient solution enables users to evaluate results, identify outliers and their root causes, and refine managerial decision making on the fly. HighJump Software offers supply chain management software developed to streamline the flow of inventory and information from supplier to store shelf. HighJump Software solutions for distribution and logistics, direct store delivery, trading partner connectivity, mobility and manufacturing include: warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, route accounting systems, manufacturing execution, mobile sales, ERP data collection and the TrueCommerce EDI Solutions Platform.
In other Salient news, David F. Giannetto, a thought-leader in the areas of business intelligence, business performance management, information management and analytics, and co-author and creator of The Performance Power Grid management methodology, has joined Salient Management Company as SVP, performance management.
In this newly created role Giannetto will lead Salient’s “transformational services,” including the on-site client technical services and business consulting, and marketing efforts.
