Safeway, Sonora Quest Labs Expand Partnership

Albertsons and Phoenix-based clinical laboratory testing provider Sonora Quest Laboratories (SQL) have opened six more Sonora Quest Laboratories Patient Service Centers (PSCs) at Safeway stores in Arizona, following the two PSCs that opened in November 2015.

The new, full-service locations – two in Tucson and one each in Phoenix, Glendale, Sedona and Kingman – provide convenient lab testing services; access to accurate, up-to-date diagnostic capabilities; and a guest-paging system that allows clinic visitors to shop while waiting for their time slot or appointment.

SQL also provides such time-saving services as patient-ordered lab tests through My Lab Request, and online and mobile appointment scheduling. With access to all laboratory test results through the Patient Results Portal at SonoraQuest.com, patients can manage their health and make educated decisions with a health care provider.

Based in Boise, Idaho, Albertsons operates more than 2,200 stores in 34 states and Washington, D.C., under 18 banners, including Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw's, Acme, Tom Thumb, Randalls, United, Pavilions, Star Markets, Market Street, Amigos and Carrs.
