Rosie Co-founder Named to ROFDA Advisory Council

Jon Ambrose, co-founder and COO of Rosie Applications Inc., a provider of e-commerce and data analytics services, was named to the Retailer Owned Food Distributors and Associates (ROFDA) Advisory Council. He will serve a two-year term.

“This appointment reflects the tremendous growth of online shopping and the opportunity for independent grocers to serve consumers across the US in new and innovative ways. I look forward to participating,” Ambrose said. Rosie currently serves retailers in 13 states by providing online shopping services.

The appointment highlights the industry’s increasing focus toward technology solutions that benefit retailers, suppliers and customers. Ambrose joins other supplier companies in the industry on the seven-member council, including Kraft Heinz, Post Consumer Brands and First Data.

“Jon Ambrose and Rosie have enthusiastically embraced ROFDA, our Members and the Independent Grocers we serve.  Jon and his team consistently contribute ideas and solutions that strengthen the greater whole.  It’s for these reasons that he has been appointed to the RAC,” said Francis Cameron, ROFDA’s president and CEO.

ROFDA promotes the retailer-owned distribution segment of the food industry with programs and services to help independent retailers.
