Retail Bakers Association Launches Online Job Service

RBA's new Job Center will help employees in the baking industry "attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure of time and resources," said Aleksandra Syska, RBA's director of membership. "And it's important for us to enable smooth career transitions for those seeking industry jobs."

Both members and non-member companies can use the McLean, Vir.-based trade association's Job Center to reach qualified candidates. Employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria, and create an online resume agent to e-mail qualified candidates daily. They also benefit from online reporting that provides job activity statistics.

The service is free to job seekers.

RBA formally launched the new Job Center at its annual American Bakery Expo convention this week in Atlantic City. It developed the RBA Job Center in partnership with Boxwood Technology, Inc., a leading provider of career center services for the association industry and the only such provider endorsed by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
