Redner’s Names VP of Finance
Michael M. McNaney has joined Redner’s Markets as its new VP of finance ,and has also been added to the Reading, Pa.-based grocer’s board of directors.
Reporting to directly to company president Richard Redner, McNaney will provide direction pertaining to all of the company’s warehouse market and sister convenience store’s financial matters. Other duties will include management of the accounting and finance department on a day-to-day basis while leading a team of 18 people.
Previously a partner with Reinsel Kuntz Lesher, LLP, McNaney will also direct financial operations to ensure timely and accurate reporting, investigate any significant deviation from plans and recommend appropriate remedial action. He will provide tax planning for federal and state income taxes with the assistance of external auditors, and be responsible for FP&A, forecasting, re-forecasting and long-range financial business strategy.
McNaney is a graduate of Albright College and attained his certified public accountant certification in 1977.
Employee-owned Redner’s operates 38 Warehouse Markets and 13 Quick Shoppes throughout eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware.
