Raley’s Extends Use of Workforce Automation Solution

Regional independent Raley’s has extended its contract with Chelmsford, Mass.-based workforce automation solution provider Kronos, following the grocer’s success in using the system to attract, hire and retain quality employees.

“We have found Kronos to be a flexible and easy-to-work-with business partner,” said Jerry Landers, senior director, human resources for West Sacramento, Calif.-based Raley’s. “Kronos helps us efficiently find and hire the right employees to achieve our goal of providing outstanding customer service to our customers.”

Because quality service is a cornerstone of Raley’s reputation, it considers the hiring and retention of great employees a critical competitive advantage. The company uses Kronos’ selection science to confidently select high-quality employees whom the software predicts are more likely to stay longer and perform better.

The automation of the Kronos solution also relieves store managers from the task of sifting through stacks of paper resumes, by providing recommendations for ideal candidates.

Kronos’ workforce management solutions were developed to enable organizations to control labor costs, minimize compliance risk and improve workforce productivity.
