Price Chopper Schenectady Installs DVD Kiosks in 28 Stores
SCHENECTADY, NY -- Price Chopper here has installed Redbox DVD rental kiosks in 28 of its stores, with many of the select locations in the greater capital region of New York.
Each Redbox kiosk holds more than 500 DVDs, representing over 70 of the newest movie releases, with new titles out every Tuesday.
Customers can go to www.redbox.com to choose a title online, and then pick it up immediately at a Price Chopper Redbox location. DVDs can be rented at one Price Chopper Redbox and returned to another Price Chopper, or any Redbox location across the country.
The family-owned Golub Corp. owns and operates more than 100 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Golub's approximately 25,000 associates collectively own 55 percent of the company's privately held stock.
