Price Chopper Promotes Allen to VP, Enterprise Business Systems
Regional independent Price Chopper Supermarkets yesterday promoted Daniela Allen to the position of VP of enterprise business systems, in which capacity she reports directly to Greg Zeh, VP of information systems and CIO.
In her new position, Allen is responsible for determining the information system application needs and delivery of systems and solutions for the Schenectady, N.Y.-based 128-store chain.
Allen joined Price Chopper in 1982, holding several positions in business systems, most recently as director of enterprise business systems.
Family-owned Golub Corp. owns and operates 128 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and employs more than 25,000 associates who collectively own 52 percent of the company’s privately held stock.
