Price Chopper to Offer Flu, Pneumonia Shots
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- This flu season Price Chopper here is joining with Columbia, Md.-based Maxim Health Systems to offer flu and pneumonia shots at the retailer's pharmacies. Flu shots will cost $25 each, while pneumonia shots will be go for $40. Mindful of last year's flu vaccine shortages, the Mid-Atlantic regional grocer advises that there's "plenty of flu vaccine available this year."
Maxim Health Systems will be collecting the cash and/or checks for the shots. Medicare
part B recipients must present a Medicare card to receive a vaccination at no charge.
