Price Chopper Names Associate Relations Director

Golub Corp./Price Chopper Supermarkets has promoted Sharon Gerasia to the position of director of associate relations-retail, reporting directly to Shelly Florence, VP of associate relations.

In her new role, Gerasia (left) will handle all associate relations issues and functions for the Northeast regional grocery chain.

Since joining Schenectady, N.Y.-based Price Chopper in 1984, Gerasia has held many positions both in store and in the main office. Her most recent role was manager of associate relations–retail.

Golub Corp. owns and operates 128 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The family-owned company employs more than 22,000 associates who collectively own 52 percent of its privately held stock.
