Price Chopper Kansas City Joins Spire Network
Price Chopper Kansas City’s Family of Stores has joined Spire, LLC’s growing network of regional grocery retailers on its Loyalty Card network.
Price Chopper adds 50 stores to the Spire network, which brings the total network store count to more than 2,100 stores with 32 million loyalty card households and over $31 billion in retail sales.
“Our new relationship with Spire will help enhance our focus on our customers,” said Spire spokesperson Casie Broker. “Spire will be able to bring additional expertise and resources so that Price Chopper can continue to provide the most relevant experience to our shoppers.”
Spire's approach to retail collaboration aims to eneble Price Chopper to unlock the power of its loyalty card data to affect marketing and merchandising initiatives, increase personalization efforts and share best practices with other non-competing retail chains facing similar competitive pressure. Spire's proprietary Engagement and Essence segmentation models were developed to allow for a smart, efficient way to communicate and market to Price Chopper Enterprise customers as well as a focused way to analyze merchandising trends and act effectively on the insights.
