Price Chopper Hires William Hull as Dir. of Network Engineering, Ops

Price Chopper Supermarkets/Golub Corp. has hired William Hull as its director of network engineering and operations, reporting to CIO Tracy Nolan. In this newly created position, Hull will oversee evolving network capabilities for the Northeast regional chain.

Hull comes to Price Chopper following a long career with companies ranging from large multinational to small startup dot-com organizations, where his positions spanned from programming and systems engineering in management to director-level roles.

Based in Schenectady, N.Y., the Golub Corp. owns and operates 135 Price Chopper and Market 32 grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Golub’s 22,000 associates collectively own more than 47 percent of the company’s privately held stock, making it one of the nation’s largest privately held corporations that is predominantly employee-owned.
