Popchips Helps Keep U.S. Troops Connected

The Popchips snack brand has teamed up with “Postcard on the Run” to help keep U.S. troops connected with their loved ones this holiday season. Through Jan. 31, 2013, the promotion will allow members of the military to mail customized postcards to anyone in the world directly from their phone using the Postcard on the Run mobile app.

"We are thrilled to partner with postcard on the run to do our part to help give back to the U.S. service men and women, especially during the holidays," said Keith Belling, founder and CEO of Popchips.

Military members at 460 army and air force exchange service locations in the U.S. and abroad will be provided with promotional codes to send two free postcards complete with a personalized message and a photo. Users can take a picture with their smart phone or use images already in their photo library, personalize it with a signature, and even choose from 11 different scratch n' scents including "pine tree" or "holiday spice."  Postcard on the run is available as a free download for Android, IOS and Windows Mobile Devices.

San Francisco, Calif.-based Popchips products are sold at over 20,000 retailers across North America and the U.K., including Whole Foods, Safeway, Kroger, Target, Wegmans, Loblaws, Waitrose and select Costco locations.
