Ooba Expansion

Pleasanton, Calif.’s HiBix Corp. has had success with the launch of a trio of flavors in its Ooba line of lightly sweetened, sparkling hibiscus beverages. The first sparkling drink based on the antioxidant-rich hibiscus plant, Ooba is now adding three new flavors to bring its product line to a total of six varieties. The new flavors are Hibiscus & Blackberry, Hibiscus & Vanilla, and Hibiscus & Pineapple. As before, a 16-ounce bottle retails for a suggested $2.49 and contains only 90 calories.
