Nugget, Andronico’s Northgate Execs to Headline United Fresh BrandStorm Retail Panel

A trio of food industry executives will headline an interactive retail panel discussion at United Fresh Produce Association’s upcoming BrandStorm marketing event on Nov. 14-15, 2016, at the Hilton Financial District, in San Francisco.

The retail panel, which kicks off the second day of the event on the morning of Nov. 15, features three retailers who will share their ever-evolving strategies for enticing and reacting to consumers and their needs. From new technology and omnichannel marketing to innovative floor plans and merchandising displays, the panelists will discuss unique approaches from the front lines.

Moderated by Meg Major, chief content editor, Progressive Grocer and sponsored by iBotta, BrandStorm’s retail panel consists of:

  • Adam Bazarnik, Director of Produce, Nugget Markets Inc
  • Suzy Monford, CEO, Andronico’s Community Markets
  • Alfonso Cano, Director of Produce, Northgate Gonzalez LLC

“Bringing together three talented retail executives to share their marketing and merchandising perspectives is an exciting opportunity for the produce industry,” said PG's Major. “The more the industry can align with retailers to work together to offer the customer the best experience possible, the greater our industry becomes.”

A project of the United Fresh Produce Marketing & Merchandising Council, BrandStorm was developed to engage all levels of marketers in the produce industry looking to disrupt their marketing mix with new and creative solutions.

Building on the success of the inaugural BrandStorm in 2015, this two-day event offers a storm of marketing solutions for attendees to take back and apply to their own businesses. They will hear from engaging speakers on topics such as word-of-mouth marketing and consumer behavioral trends. Attendees will come together throughout the event to engage in multiple platforms, work on industry-specific case studies and hear from speakers designed to make them approach their marketing strategies from a new perspective.

BrandStorm registration is now open. United Fresh members can attend for $695, with discounts offered to marketing teams (from the same company) at the reduced rate of $645 each when prospective attendees register two or more colleagues. Non-members can attend for $895.
