New Management Roles for Festival Foods Leaders

Festival Foods has made leadership changes to help position the company for continued growth.

Marlin Greenfield was named senior operations leader; he previously was COO. In his new role, he will become a mentor and advisor to the senior leadership team and store directors. “Marlin joined the Festival Foods team 25 years ago and brought with him a variety of experience in different retail grocery formats, which was essential to our growth and winning culture,” said Mark Skogen, president/CEO of Festival Foods.

Festival also promoted Mike Mesich from VP store operations to SVP of operations. Since joining the company in 2006, Mesich has spearheaded changes to Festival's labor management process which led to increased productivity and lowered costs. “Marlin’s willingness to mentor our leadership team through this transition is priceless. We are well-positioned with a great leader like Mike taking on the senior vice president of operations responsibilities,” Skogen said.

The family- and employee-owned company operates 20 stores across Wisconsin and is set to open its 21st location in the fall.
