ON THE MOVE: HIT Entertainment Hires New Director of Retail Development, Promotions, and Broadcast Relations
NEW YORK and DALLAS - Jean Lemmey has been appointed director of retail development, promotions, and broadcast relations for HIT Entertainment, an integrated global studio that owns rights to well-known children's media properties including Barney, Thomas & Friends, and Bob the Builder.
Lemmey's responsibilities include maximizing home video and consumer product sales through a series of coordinated retail programs, and spearheading promotional partnerships that mirror or enhance HIT brands' positioning. She also provides strategic support and liaises with HIT's broadcast partners.
Lemmey brings more than 13 years of experience in brand, licensing, promotions, and retail development for leading consumer products companies including Reebok, Random House, and, most recently, Hasbro.
Major HIT Entertainment initiatives in 2005 include a multiplatform product and marketing campaign to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Thomas & Friends, and the launch of a new Bob the Builder broadcast series and consumer products line.
