More Hurricanes, More Relief from Food Lion

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Food Lion is once again coming to rescue of hurricane victims -- this time by donating truckloads of ice, water, and snack foods to assist Jacksonville, Fla., area residents recovering from Hurricane Jeanne.

The Salisbury, N.C.-based grocer, a unit of Delhaize America, is rushing approximately 151,200 pounds of ice, 16,800 gallons of bottled water and thousands of packages of snack foods to Duval County and Clay County. Working with the disaster relief teams of both counties, the supplies will be distributed this morning, at three locations in Jacksonville and one location in Orange Park, Fla.
