M&M’s to Tackle Super Bowl – Again

Mars Chocolate North America’s M&M’s brand will air an all-new 30-second commercial during the first quarter of Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5. This will mark the iconic chocolate candy’s second trip to the Big Game.

M&M’s will star at the Super Bowl instead of the company’s Snickers brand, which has enjoyed back-to-back success with the “You’re Not You When You’re Hungry” campaign.

“Snickers will prove to be a tough act to follow, but we’re confident our M&M’s spot will have everyone talking on the morning of Feb. 6,” said Debra A. Sandler, chief consumer officer at Hackettstown, N.J.-based Mars Chocolate North America, one of the six business segments of Mars Inc. in McLean, Va.

M&M’s plans to reveal further details about its Super Bowl ad this month.
