Mike McCurry to Deliver Keynote at NRF 2006 Loss Prevention Conference

WASHINGTON -- More than 2,600 executives from the loss prevention community will gather in Minneapolis June 5-7 for the National Retail Federation's (NRF) 2006 Loss Prevention Conference and Exhibition. Headlining the three-day event will be a keynote address by Mike McCurry, partner, Public Strategies Washington, Inc.

During his keynote on June 5, McCurry will offer a candid, insider analysis of current national and world events, politics, the press and the presidency, foreign policy, and of the always-charged world of the White House and Washington D.C.

McCurry served in the White House as press secretary to President Bill Clinton from 1995 to 1998. Prior to joining the White House staff, he served as spokesman for the Department of State from 1993 to 1995, where he earned accolades as chief spokesman for then Secretary of State Warren Christopher.

NRF's annual event will offer attendees the opportunity to connect with the leaders in loss prevention, asset protection, and risk management through more than 40 engaging sessions and forums, 10 networking events, and an exhibit hall featuring products and technologies from more than 200 suppliers.

In conjunction with the NRF Loss Prevention Conference, Wicklander-Zulawski will be presenting two separate seminars tailored for retail LP professionals at the Minneapolis Millennium Hotel. The first seminar, I.T.H.R.E.A.T. (Interviewing & Techniques for Handling Risk, Evaluation Assessment Teams), is a two-day seminar designed to provide executives tools for dealing with threats or incidents of violence. The second, a one-day interactive workshop, is an advanced seminar on interview and interrogation techniques.
