‘Mad Men’ Designer Pens Guide for Downy Wrinkle Releaser

Janie Bryant, the costume designer on AMC’s “Mad Men,” has produced “The Fabric Care Guide: Tips and Advice on Caring for Your Clothes” in conjunction with The oneCare Co.’s Downy Wrinkle Releaser.

The 14-page booklet, featuring sketches by Bryant, offers fabric care tips for a variety of fabrics, among them acetate, acrylic, cotton, nylon and wool, and includes swatches to help readers identify the different types of fabrics.

“One thing I’ve always been passionate about is how important presentation is to having great style,” said Bryant, who swears by Downy Wrinkle Releaser on the set on the set to keep costumes camera-ready, as well as for her own wardrobe. “Looking pressed and polished is often just as important as what you’re wearing and the best way to pull off that look is to know how to take great care of your clothing.”
