Macey's Adds Delivery at 2 Stores

Independent grocer Macey's has added delivery to its online shopping options, partnering with Salt Lake City-based ecommerce solutions provider FirstMile for the service.

Shoppers in Sandy and Pleasant Grove, Utah, can now have their groceries delivered to their door via Macey's Anywhere. When placing an order, guests simply choose a two-hour delivery window Monday through Saturday instead of selecting a curbside pickup time. The two locations offering the service will make deliveries to homes within 10 miles of their stores using a dedicated FirstMile driver and truck.

“This pilot program is going to make grocery shopping at Macey’s even more convenient for our busy guests,” said Ashlee Johnstun, customer relations manager for Macey’s. “Partnering with FirstMile for delivery was a natural fit. As a Utah company, they understand our commitment to serving our communities and providing quality service.”

Based in Salt Lake City, Macey's operates 12 stores in Utah. It is a member of cooperative Associate Food Stores, based in the same city.
