KSS to Retailers: If Our Software Doesn’t Drive Profits, it’s Free
Price and promotion optimization solutions vendor KSS, Florham park, N.J. is putting its money where its mouth is, guaranteeing that users of its PriceNet or RackPrice fuel price management and optimization solutions will experience increased performance and profits – or will not pay for the software.
“We stand behind our products with confidence,” the vendor said. “With more than 24,000 sites and terminals in 22 countries using our pricing systems, we’ve improved profitability in every installation and experienced 100 percent customer retention.”
The promotion is a way for the vendor to mitigate any perceived risk and trepidation retailers may have regarding price management systems. KSS will work with retailers initially to define benchmarks and goals for the program. After a set timeframe, if performance and profits fall below those predetermined goals, they will receive s predetermined discount on the software license –including no payment at all if the software produces no performance or profit improvement at all.
