Kroger Taps Manticore Technology to Manage Online Marketing Efforts

CINCINNATI – The Kroger Co. plans to use Austin, Texas-based Manticore Technology's Virtual Traffic Master 4.0 to manage and optimize 12 of its web properties, including Kroger.com, Ralphs.com, and KingSoopers.com.

Kroger's goal in implementing the technology is to gain insight into the interests and preferences of online shoppers so that it can more effectively meet the needs of these consumers now and into the future.

Virtual Traffic Master 4.0 provides essential information on the ways that site content and online marketing campaigns interact to form a unified brand effort. Through an easy-to-use interface, the software enables decision-makers within large companies such as Kroger to successfully manage sophisticated web sites. Using drop-down menus, marketers can track traffic patterns and quickly change data from one Web site to another to understand customer behavior across the entire corporate web presence.

By using Virtual Traffic Master's reporting and analysis features, Kroger's marketing team will now be able to track all visitor behavior across their family of stores and gain a clear understanding of the messages that shoppers take away from a web site.
