Kroger Joins Children's Hospital for Unique NASCAR Promo
Kroger and Kimberly-Clark are partnering for a special initiative to benefit Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis at the upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series race at O'Reilly Raceway Park.
On Sat, July 26, the No. 27 Ford Fusion racecar driven by Brad Coleman will feature handprints representing patients of Riley Hospital for Children, courtesy of Coleman's primary sponsor, Kimberly-Clark, to help celebrate the 10-year partnership between Kroger and Riley Hospital for Children.
Coleman's No. 27 race car will feature a unique paint scheme colored with handprints and the names of the 27 children and their parents or guardians, for a total of 63 names and handprints, accompanied by the slogan, "Making a difference, Hand in Hand."
Prior to the Saturday race, Coleman will visit current patients at the hospital during the special "NASCAR patient party." The car, with the authentic version of the 27 unique hand prints paint scheme, will be on display throughout Indiana at select Kroger stores leading up to the race week, as well as at the NASCAR patient party eve
