Jodi Marsh Departs Marsh, Joins Local PR Firm
INDIANAPOLIS -- Jodi D. Marsh resigned as v.p., community relations and event management at Marsh Supermarkets, Inc. here last Friday, and then re-emerged as v.p. of Sease, Gerig & Associates, a local management consulting and communications firm that has just ended its own relationship with the chain.
The agency Marsh, the executive, has just joined had had a 12-year business relationship with Marsh the chain.
"We are delighted that Jodi is joining our team," said David G. Sease, vice chairman of the management consulting firm. "We have worked closely with her for a decade, and are thoroughly familiar with the wide-ranging skills she will bring to serve our many clients."
In December, Jodi Marsh filed for divorce from David Marsh, the company's president.
Jodi Marsh, 39, graduated with honors from Ball State University with a communications and marketing degree. Before joining Marsh in 1993, she worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative. She became director of community relations at Marsh in 1996, and three years later was promoted to v.p. of community relations and event management. In that role, she was the company's key media spokesperson, in addition to coordinating community partnerships, corporate sponsorships and events.
She is a member of the '500' Festival board of directors, The Children's Museum of Indianapolis Board, Girl Scouts of Hoosier Capital Council Advisory Board, the Indiana Children's Wish Fund Board, and Peyback Foundation Resource Council.
