Instacart Enters N.J.

Online grocery service Instacart has added southern New Jersey to its areas of operation, delivering orders from such grocers serving the region as Whole Foods Market, Acme Markets, and even Costco, with no club membership required.

The San Francisco-based service, which arrives following thousands of requests from New Jersey residents, allows customers to schedule their grocery deliveries with one-hour to one-week notice for a fee of $5.99, or free with an Instacart Express membership.

Service in the Garden State is currently is limited to South Jersey, specifically Cherry Hill, Gloucester City, Haddonfield, Haddon Heights, Voorhees Township, Maple Shade Township, Marlton, Mount Laurel, Moorestown, Mount Ephraim, Palmyra, Riverside, Audubon, Oaklyn, Collingswood, Merchantville and Pennsauken Township.
