Hershey Presents Vision Award to Robert Rodriguez
The Hershey Co. presented the Vision Award to filmmaker Robert Rodriguez during the 28th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards (HHAs), held Sept. 17 at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.
The Hershey Co. is a Medallion Sponsor of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, an organization that honors notable Latinos who have distinguished themselves in various fields and made a positive difference in the U.S. and globally. The Hispanic Heritage Foundation Awards are considered the highest honor “for Latinos by Latinos.”
“We are proud to have presented the Vision Award to Robert Rodriguez who embodies the spirit of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s mission and work,” said Javier Idrovo, VP and chief accounting officer at Hershey. “Hershey is dedicated to the Latino community and providing great career opportunities for Latinos.”
Robert Rodriguez is a film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, editor and musician and founder and chairman of El Rey Network, the English-language cable network.
