Heineken Honors Andrews Distributing Co. for Responsibility Efforts
Heineken USA presented Andrews Distributing Co. of North Texas with its 1864 Award for Responsibility, at the beer giant's National Distributor Conference on Feb. 26 in New Orleans.
Heineken recognizes a top distributor annually for best-in-class practices promoting responsible consumption and moderation.
This past year, Andrews Distributing partnered with Heineken to execute several co-branded responsibility campaigns in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Corpus Christi markets to promote safe rides home.
Efforts included a partnership with Uber which provided more than 275 free rides home, as well as a holiday safe ride home program where hundreds of people received a free cab ride home. The company also supports local and statewide initiatives that advocate for moderate consumption.
“Since the beginning, Heineken has been committed to encouraging the responsible consumption of our products and to taking an active role in the communities where we live and work,” said Ray Faust, the company's chief sales officer. “We are proud to work with partners that embrace these values and actively strive to put responsibility into action. This year, Andrews Distributing Company of North Texas went above and beyond to make a difference in the communities they serve.”
